MIST College was a hive of energy last week as students and staff came together for the highly anticipated Cultural Week 2025. The event brought out the best in creativity, style, and community spirit, with each day offering a unique theme and memorable experiences.
Monday – Official Wear Day
The week began on a high note with elegance and professionalism taking center stage. Students stepped out in their finest attire, setting the tone for the week. After an intense contest, Mr. Jeremy and Ms. Keziah impressed judges with their confidence and style, earning the day’s crown. The excitement continued into the evening with a spirited karaoke competition, where Ms. Gloria emerged as the ultimate winner.

Tuesday – Sporty Wear Day
The atmosphere turned energetic as students showcased their best sporty looks. Ms. Ruth and Mr. Leyna stood out with outstanding outfits, winning the titles of Best Sporty Outfit. The day buzzed with games and activities — from darts and poker to truth or dare — ensuring maximum fun and interaction.
Wednesday – Cowboy & Cowgirl Wear Day
Midweek brought a thrilling twist with a cowboy-and-cowgirl theme. Students displayed creativity in full swing, making it tough for judges to decide. Ultimately, Ms. Julie and Mr. Leyna were named the best dressed. The highlight of the day was a fiery dance competition, with jaw-dropping performances that had the crowd on its feet and cemented Wednesday as one of the most unforgettable days.

Thursday – Vintage Thursday
Retro vibes filled the campus as students stepped out in colorful, nostalgic styles. Mr. Shadrack and Ms. Sharon captivated the judges and took the day’s honors. The fun continued with Throwback Thursday (TBT) performances, where students sang and danced to timeless classics, recreating the golden years in style.
Friday – Crazy Wear Day
The week culminated in laughter and creativity as students pulled out their wildest, funniest, and most eccentric outfits. The bold expressions of Ms. Sharon and Mr. Reuben earned them the coveted titles of the day.
Speaking at the close of the event, the organizing committee commended the students for their overwhelming participation, noting that the Cultural Week had achieved its goal of promoting unity, showcasing talent, and celebrating diversity.
The week ended with joy, cheers, and the promise of even bigger cultural celebrations in the future.
